Radio Network Installation & Army Training - Afghanistan
Over several years, CodeZone planned, installed, and maintained radio communications infrastructure for international defence contractors and government organisations across Afghanistan, delivering structured training programmes that equipped Afghan National Army units with the skills to operate and sustain their own communications networks.
The Challenge
International organisations operating in Afghanistan needed reliable radio communications infrastructure deployed rapidly across challenging terrain. Equally important was building the capacity of Afghan National Army personnel to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain these systems independently after handover.
Our Solution
Our teams conducted site surveys and RF planning across multiple provinces, installed base stations, repeaters, and handheld radio systems, and configured encrypted communications channels. In parallel, we developed and delivered comprehensive training curricula for ANA communications units covering radio operation, basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and network management.
“CodeZone's engineers understood both the technical requirements and the operational realities on the ground. The training they delivered gave our units genuine capability they could sustain independently.”
